About the region
| Dear visitors, Dear Friends, I welcome you all warmly on behalf of all business owners, members of our civic group „Association for Culture and Tourism“. By the Bulletin in which we are presenting our offers, we want to contribute to learning about the cultural values and qualities in the field of tourism, and at the same time to relieve and diversify your stay in the Danube region. The villages of Danube and its surroundings offer you beautiful moments of pleasant relaxation and recreation. Cottages, Inns, resorts, restaurants and other tourism facilities and services in the region will be introduced grouped by individual municipalities. We believe that except the good accommodation, traditional cuisine, excellent wines and spirits, along with fishing, hunting, horse riding, or in addition to hiking and biking tours you will also fall in love with the cultural values of this region, its traditions and folk arts. You will become welcomed guests in our ethnographic houses in the local exhibitions of folk art and history of the Danube municipalities. Tradesmen who are expecting you, people from civic organizations, people offering the fruits of their work - we all profess, that one has only a single birthplace: one that carries in his heart.
